As usual, pastels are pretty popular for spring. I, for one, am tres excited to rock some sugary, candy-coated colors after weeks of black, grey, and muted darks. I love the way Liz chose to don two pieces in the same color, updating the normal springtime pastel appearance by going monochromatic chic.

Chain Gang.

Chainlink jewelry has never been having a bigger moment. These pieces are from Alex’s(pictured above) collection, and look amazing when stacked one on top of the other until you look down and your jewelry box is virtually empty. I can’t get enough.

Leather + Lace

Lace minis and microshorts seemed to be pretty popular last summer, and I think the trend is picking up again as the weather gets warmer (or did it ever leave?). I love the idea of toughening it up with a little leather detail, since I’m the type of person who can never seem to go all-out girly. It looks like I’m not the only one.

Neon

And one more from the stylish Miss Emily (she is so spot on right now!). Pops of neon are popping up everywhere, particularly in jewelry, since the start of the new year. I love this modern sheath dress with the neon lime panel on one side. It’s so fresh and unique. Color is so much easier to wear when its done in such a minimalist way.
