LA Street Style
The beauty of living in the City of Angels is the creativity and originality seen across the eclectic street wear. Being the giant melting pot that LA is, the only common denominator is our freedom to wear shorts whenever we want since it’s nice and sunny all year long! For starters, I’d like to share some of my favorite looks that encompass different aspects of true LA street style.

This ensemble screams so-LA with the short shorts and the messy-hair-I-don’t-care ‘tude. And since it’s technically still winter, gals get by with donning oversized sweaters, pairing them with roughed up denim shorts, hopping on that “arm party” (coined by blogger Leandra Medine), and topping it all off with some sunnies. Classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers are my never-fail choice of eyewear.

Now how hot is that sheer maxi? HOT! Personally, I’ve always been a fan of black on black on black, and a touch of old Hollywood glamour and gold-finished accents keep it from looking too goth. And c’mon, what’s LA without some looks appropriate for strutting down Rodeo Drive, chai tea latte in one hand and oversized bag in the other?

Last year’s favorite ombre hairstyles have translated into ombre denim pieces worn by girls all over LA, and dip-dyed ombre shirts especially have that easy DIY appeal and customizability. Denim on denim looks soo good when done right, but can look pretty awful when paired incorrectly. Don’t fear—you can never go wrong with denim and black leather for a sexy spin on a boyish look. Finish off with black boots to lengthen your legs, and you’ll be smokin’!
On another note, have you seen Shit People Say in LA? Like, OMG, so true! (I promise we don’t all sound like that).
