San Diego Street Style
Hey Skinny Bitches!
Today we are looking at the street style of my sunny home of San Diego, California. The consistent beautiful weather here in San Diego allows for cut-off shorts year-round and other summer staples accessorized and layered with trendy hints of winter. San Diego is fashionista-on-a-budget heaven. We interchange the same simple pieces across seasons while adding vintage hints from the local thrift stores for a unique touch. Just south of the west coast fashion capital (Los Angeles) you’ll find versatile combinations of bohemian-chic dresses, rocker combat boots, cozy flannels, and surfer inspirations. Here is a look at the style on the streets of SD where pops of colors are never too much and the more layers the better!

High-waisted denim shorts are a must have in San Diego. The leopard blouse and Rolling Stones Band Tee turn the casual cut-offs into a vintage rocker look. It wouldn’t be a San Diego style unless there is a pop of color in the red shoes and big sunglasses.

This outfit properly demonstrates the boho-chic look of San Diego. The cropped top and floral maxi skirt compliment each other perfectly. This girl definitely caught on to the feather trend with the dream catcher long necklace and feathered gladiator sandals.

The lace open back mini is definitely a popular trend in San Diego this winter, especially when paired with Jeffrey Campbell lace ups. Her ombre hair and turquoise accessories complete the San Diego beachy formal look.

Plaid flannels are a must have in every San Diego girl’s wardrobe. Pairing the flannel with jean cut-offs and tights demonstrates the mixing of summer clothes (the cut-offs) with warm accessories in socal winter. Doc Martins or combat boots perfectly extenuate the beach rocker look.
